POA Online Tuition

All fully enrolled 1:1 Master POA students will have access to the same high-yield revision kit as those who enrol in our small group lessons and online course students. As part of our program, you’ll receive tutor-guided access to a range of comprehensive online resources and additional practice materials.

You’ll also be able to access Master POA study guides, revision notes and carefully curated practice sets, designed to reinforce key concepts and build mastery.

We understand you might be willing to adjust your child’s tuition schedule to accommodate your preferred tutor, hence it’s important to indicate the maximum available slots in your child’s week to find the best possible match.

But as we are facing high volumes of demand, what’s available now may be snapped up within the same day. What works is if you indicate your preferences in detail, so when we get back to you, the availability would be a firm one, unless all our tutors are fully booked for the slot you’ve indicated.

For our Master POA 1:1 home or online tutor arrangement, we will propose the tutor based on a match of your child’s availability and the tutors’, as well as personal preference on a best effort basis.

Our process and set up is designed to accommodate as many students needing 1:1 POA home tuition as possible. This process has gone through multiple refinements and has served hundreds of students, parents and our tutors well over a decade.

The client profile that benefits most from our services are often the most discerning and respectful of the effort we put to deliver a differentiated learning experience.

There are several cases where we cannot offer admission, these are the Top 4 reasons why we do not accept all students.

Lessons are held at the student’s home or online with Master POA Private Homework Rooms.

Lessons are typically conducted once a week, with each session lasting minimally 1.5 hours.

Our 1:1 POA tutoring rates reflect our commitment to quality and excellence. Unlike other services, we carefully select each tutor through a rigorous process personally led by Caleb, ensuring that only the most qualified and dedicated educators join our team.

Additionally, students under our guidance enjoy full access to our comprehensive online resources and systems. We recognise the value of providing extra learning materials and tools to enhance their in-person tutoring experience.

All scheduled lessons are assumed to be attended – make up lessons can be arranged if student informs at least 48 hours in advance. In the event of a medical emergency, a photo of the M.C must be sent to our WhatsApp number at 92337246. Make-up lessons will be arranged depending on the availability of the tutor and student. 

A maximum of 2 suspensions is allowed with full payment of fees for suspended lessons as a result of late payment. After which, the slot will be released.

Invoices are issued on last week of the preceding term and is due 48 hours before the 1st lesson of the billing cycle. Kindly settle your invoice promptly. There will be an administrative fee of $50 if fees are not received 48 hours before the 1st lesson of the billing cycle.

Lessons may be suspended until payment is received. An e-receipt will be issued after every payment made.

Life happens. At Master POA, we are all about common sense, respect and understanding. The beauty of 1:1 arrangements is that it provides some amount of flexibility.

If changes are within reasonable grounds and mutually agreed, it’s ok. We do reserve the right, however, to release the slot for other students in the waitlist if this understanding is misconstrued or abused, at our discretion.

Payment is required upfront for all services.

– Our 1:1 teaching slots are limited to ensure quality service and respect for the time and efforts of our tutors and administrators.
– Payments are billed termly (10 lessons) upfront, starting with a paid trial lesson to assess suitability.
– Once the trial lesson is completed and deemed a good fit, you must secure the slot by completing payment for the remaining 9 lessons before the second lesson

If the first tutor is not a suitable match for your child, we will make reasonable efforts to arrange a second trial lesson with another tutor, subject to availability.

2. Payment Policy: Payments are termly (10 lessons) upfront. A paid trial lesson is required initially. If the trial goes well, payment for the remaining 9 lessons will need to be completed prior to the second lesson.


3. Trial and Reassignment: If the first tutor isn’t a good fit, a second trial with another tutor may be arranged, subject to availability.
