3 Stage Interview

An Accounting Educator We’ll Love

All of our selected POA tutors start part-time with 1:1 tuition before moving on teaching in groups.

You engage and equip accounting students and are motivated by the desire to see them succeed.

You see accounting education as a platform to inspire and educate the next generation of business leaders, family CFOs and citizens appreciating world/economic affairs.

You are willing to master our comprehensive and unique curriculum and lesson structures and not afraid of calibrating your approach to learner’s needs – including learning the use of multi-media and edutech tools to support learner’s journey

You build confidence in students and parents by providing effective and honest communications.

You are a team player and you work well with other colleagues, contributing and participating in our staff bi-monthly meetings and online accounting community

You advance and maintain your own professional development as an accounting professional/educator, on top of our in-house curriculum and edutech training for accounting educators.

You lead by example and are passionate about Master Principles of Accounts brand. All Master POA tutors, including the founder, undergo yearly curriculum testing under exam conditions.

Part Time Requirements

You will need to be proficient with the curriculum you are applying to teach.

At least 2 years of private lessons and 3 years of experience as an accounting student.

A minimum of an accounting or business degree from the big four local university, PGDE, ACCA or equivalent.
A more extensive interview is required for those without accounting certification.

A block of at least 3 hours 7pm-10pm on weekdays or any time on weekends. At least a full academic year commitment to teach upon confirmation.

Teaching experience in a college, university is an added advantage for applicants. References and testimonials of private students for home tutors (screenshots) should be submitted during the application process.
